Hi
everyone
We
have had success with Dorset Local Nature Partnership Boards they said they can
prob send a surveyor to have a look at the site and write a report, map being
sent to them tonight.
Spoke
to Planning Agents for Business Park and they are meeting their clients next
week to take instruction and will be fighting this robustly, they have kindly
agreed to assist the community with info re strong planning conditions and
legal issuesas to why it can be stopped.
Our
petition man Shaun has delivered 80 letterssingle handed today to businesses in
the locale advising them of the meeting date at Creekmoor and inviting them to
join us, he will do another 50 tomorrow and doing a great job of
collecting signatures as he goes.
Terry
has had a stonker of a letter in the Echo, well done Terry, please everyone
feel free to write into the Echo with your thoughts, this will keep the
debate fresh in the minds of the public, we don’t want them forgetting about us
and our plight. Terry is also making good progress with Natural England.
Marc
is steaming ahead with the RSBP and is sending maps to hopefully alert them to
the very close proximity to the harbour and get them to visit the site and
hopefully give a report.
We
have contacted CEPRE, the President already saying he objects to the TSP on the
site so we are asking for objections in writing and supporting evidence to be
submitted to the planning dept.
The
Police Crime Commissioner, a Snr Police officer and your MP have all agreed to
attend the meeting on the 1st March to advise re their particular
responsibilities, we have invited our PCSO SNT lead and await his reply he may
be on an off day today.
We
are going to meet with two reps from the Gypsy Council and visit the site
together, if as we hope they will not use the site that will be a very strong
argument for us and we will ask them to write into the planning dept stating this.
Anyway
as Cllrs we rec’d notification of planning application today APP/14/00123/F
Land at Safety Drive Poole Dorset, we did not receive the other notification as
it is not directly in our Ward, Oakdale Ward colleagues will have rec’d this.
We
have until Feb21st to get objection letters in etc, it’s not on the web yet but
should be there by next Tuesday latest, so we all need to get objection letters
in, we will send planning reasons to everyone as soon as they are clearly
ascertained and a standard letter format to assist if folk wish to use it.
Thanks
to everyone thus far who has offered to deliver information leaflets in their
roads, the first drop will be to advise everyone that the planning application
is now submitted and for everyone to send in their objections, to advise of our
residents meeting of the 1st March and 15 March and speakers etc,
and ask for more deliverers and petition gatherers as we are now looking to
raise a 100 plus petition for full Council for 25th Feb, If we get
more that 100 but less that 750 that means yr ward Cllrs can speak to the
petition at the Council meeting, another bite at the cherry that petition will
then go to the planning committee and join Shaun’s businesses petition, this
covers all angles. This again will be a night where public attendance will show
the strength of feeling!
So
if you feel you can pop around to your neighbours in yr road and get a
petitions signed, we can send to you to print off a sheet or too or we can
deliver sheets to you that would be brilliant and adds more strength to our
community case.
Hope
that everything for tonight, keep sending in your suggestions, we have a little
team working on an e-petitions which is great, and other coming up with great
suggestions which we are noting and hope to effect.
We
have all three come down wretched lurgy so I am off for an earlyish
night, hope you are all keeping well
