Mail from your Councillors - 31st January 2014

Hello everyone

We are creating a growing e-mail ‘group’ data base of addresses  so a few of you may get this again, original notification from Jonny earlier today.

The hall by kind provision of Andy Pedrick our Creekmoor Community Association Chairman has now been booked for Sat March 1^st at 5pm for a planning meeting re how we deal with the planning application, there is also another meeting booked for March 15^th just before the actual Council Planning Meeting so we can ensure we are all informed and on message.

We are now looking for anyone who can deliver leaflets  in their road so that we can put out an invitation leaflet to the residents meeting and to update folk of other developments, as I have now mastered the spreadsheet if you can do that in your road please can you let me know, if you have already said you can huge thanks but can you again e-mail to say that ok, huge thanks. Marc Rosenberg has very kindly offered to help with wording and printing leaflets, always  good to have a proof reader so we get info correct first time!

Lots of things are being arranged re getting various bodies to come and look at the land to see if there are reasons why planning cannot go ahead, ie Natural England, Dorset Local Nature Partnership Board, RSBP, CEPRE, Wessex Water, etc etc.

Others are wadding through gov docs and Council docs to ascertain the history of the site. We have a growing band of folk who are researching various areas on everyone’s behalf and we hope to report findings at our meeting on 1st March. We understand that not everyone can spare time to do these things but attending the meetings and offering moral support is invaluable and we cannot do this without everyone being involved.

We will keep you all posted when you can e-mail/write in to the planning dept  your objections and on what grounds as soon as the planning application is submitted to Council. This is really vital as a show of numbers will be a powerful tool in the application process.

Please encourage those who are interested and want to join the campaign to send their e-mail addresses in or if not on e-mail call us as below so we can contact them to keep in touch and  add them to the data base and keep them informed.
